I’m writing this with a lot of gratitude and hope as I start preparing for a big change — I’m planning to move to Mexico City sometime within the next year or two, and I’d love to connect with anyone who’s part of the creative, music, or events community out there.
My name is Mark the Magnificent — I’m a formally-trained (Scratch Academy NYC) open-format / house music DJ currently based in the U.S., and I’ve been spinning professionally for years. My style blends house, hip-hop, R&B, disco, funk, and open-format energy. I’ve done everything from club nights to corporate events and love playing to a crowd that’s open to a good vibe.
But this post isn’t a promo. It’s a request.
I don’t know many people in CDMX (yet), and I’m looking for any help, advice, connections, or opportunities to start building something there — gigs, collabs, even recommendations on local crews or venues to check out.
